It is unseasonably warm in New York this week. It has been over 650 days since there has been more than an inch of snow in New York City. I am still waiting for my mid-winter storm in the big city. I don’t think it will be a white Christmas this year. Be sure to light a candle for solstice, as I find the darkest day of the year to be a great day of reflection, renewal, and refuge. Here is to winding down 2023.
